I use a WS2012-R2 iScsi target for an Hyper-V 2012-R2 cluster managed by SCVMM 2012-R2 Rollup1.
Even so the deployment and transfers explanation states that "this destination is available for SAN migration (please see attached screen-shot)", the quick file copy isn't working and large vhd files travel across the wires when creating new VMs from
templates.
ODX is supposed to help here. Is the MS iscsi target in Ws2012-R2 supporting this? If so, is there a special configuration to do somewhere? If not, what does this statement mean "this destination is available for SAN migration"?
