How would you un-register/remove a VM in VMM without deleting its VHDx's?

Good day - in VMWare vCenter, one could very easily "Unregister - Remove from Inventory" a VM from vCenter. One would then easily be able to move this VM onto any other cluster as long as the storage was presented to the new cluster, right click on the vmx file, and "Add to Inventory" - all your settings stayed intact, etc..

How would I accomplish this very same task in VMM? I assume I have to invoke Hyper-V Manager in order to remove my VM but not delete its data.

Suggestions?

Also, VMM needs to be able to handle VM's using muliple CSV's to allocate its storage. We use many virtual file servers with lots of 1TB mount points. To accomplish this task, we are forced to to FailOver Cluster manager.

It would be ideal for VMM to act more like VMWare vCenter, were its truly your one stop shop of VM & VMHost management.

Thanks,

-Eddy
