Microsoft System Center 2012 R2\Virtual Machine Manager service will not start

Brand new install of VMM on Server 2012 R2

A couple of days later there were new updates to .Net, after which vmmservice.exe will simply not start

Fantastic job Microsoft! Kill your own product

But maybe somebody has an idea?

Already tried LastSQMEngineRefreshTime value in the SQL table "fix", no difference
