Hi,
I am not sure what I’m doing wrong, but whatever option I choose I lose connectivity to Server2 when applying a Datacenter Switch to Hyper-V host Server2.
I apply Datacenter switch to ethernet0 and ethernet1 on Server2 and create a Virtual Network Adapter as below, but I lose connectivity every time.
My test environment.
Server 2012 R2 Datacenter
Server1 AD, DNS - Contoso.com
IP: 192.168.1.1/24 (Ethernet0)
Server2 Hyper-V host
IP: 192.168.1.2/24 (Ethernet0)
IP: 192.168.2.2/24 (Ethernet1)
Server3 Hyper-V host
IP: 192.168.1.3/24 (Ethernet0)
IP: 192.168.2.2/24 (Ethernet1)
Server5 - SCVMM 2012 R2
IP: 192.168.1.5/24 (Ethernet0)
VMM Settings Logical Network:
Infrastructure: DNS: 192.168.1.1, Gateway is empty.Uplink Port

Datacenter Switch
Uplink Mode: Team Virtual Ports: High bandwidth, Medium Bandwidth, Host Management
Have a good day.
