Hi all,
I've gone through the other posts, all the ones I was able to find, but I still can't find one that really relates to my environment. As mentioned in the subject, I intermittendly have an issue where the hosts in SCVMM 2012 R2 will go into the "Host
not responding" state, and the only way to resolve the issue is to physically restart the host. After a reboot it runs fine for a while, and then just acts out again.
I have a 6-node cluster running Server 2012 R2 DC. When this happens I cannot even connect to the cluster through Failover Cluster Manager until all the affected nodes have been restarted and is in a healthy state.
I've tried the follwoing in an effort to resolve the issue:
- Uninstalled/Re-installed SCVMM agent
- Verified that WinRM is running and responding.
- Disabled Windows Firewall altogether to ensure there isn't a rule blocking it somewhere.
I've been able to find a number of cases and posts for similar issues like this, but to now none of them have been able to bare fruit as far as solving tis issue is concerned.
Anyone running a similar setup that could perhaps shed some light on it?
Thanks
